The author of this blog was born and raised in Romania, but left in the early 1980’s at the height of Ceausescu’s repressive state.  Now a highly educated professional in the United States, the author of this blog aims to offer a balanced perspective on the country of his origins.

Romania has much to offer both as a travel destination, and as a culture and nation.
